Naoussa Wine PDO Xinomavro
Grapes for this wine are harvested from our vineyards in Lakka (50%) and Krasta (50%).
Grape Variety: Xinomavro Clone V3 (45%), Clone V6 (45) and a 10% population.
Climate: Meditteranean with condinental tendencies.
Soil: Medium to heavy mechanichal composition witn calcium carbonate.
Plant Dencity: 3000 plants per Ha
Plant Yield: 2-13,5 depending on the clone.
Organic Cultivation is applied to all our vineyards since 1999!
Winemaking: Cold soak applied for 72 hours in 12c. Fermentation with controlled temperature (max 29c) .
Oak: Maturing in old oak for 12 months (50%) American and (50%) French.
